Having traveled south for much of his recent fishing, Myles Gibson eyed up a new challenge and in doing so, pointed his van northwards. Heading up to the Scottish boarder he targeted a pit which was renowned for being a tricky nut to crack. A dwindling number of big carp were present, that were actively being hunted by otters, and it felt like a race against the clock to catch the fish he wanted before the otters did!
Myles used every ounce of his knowledge to fast track his captures throughout his campaign, maximising his time spent on the bank over several seasons. He amassed a huge album of fish from the venue during this period and we thought it was about time he revealed his account of exactly what went on during his trips on The Road North.
