Join Simon Crow as he recounts a remarkable session on the famous Foundry syndicate in Lincoln, where he lands a brace of English forty-pounders in under 24 hours. First, Crowy slips the net under a stunning 42lb 8oz mirror, followed shortly after by a new forty for the lake—a carp he later learns is named Macca, in honour of the late, great Iain Macmillan. The fish was given its name after being caught by Lewis Porter around the time of Iain’s passing in 2021.
