In a recent post on facebook New Direction Tackle have admitted they have lost access to all of their IT infrastructure. Have they been hacked as some users suggest?
Unfortunately, we have to inform you that an incident has occurred and we have lost access to our IT systems and are no longer able to control them. The IT systems were managed by a third-party provider. This affects the website, email addresses, the shop, customer accounts and the boats with their unlocking and autopilot functions. We are currently investigating the matter.
We are not insolvent, but due to the loss of our entire IT system, we are hardly in a position to accept and process orders in a meaningful way. Amazon is not affected by this. Our main focus has always been on offering our customers innovative products and being there for them.

If you have any outstanding orders from our shop, please contact us with a screenshot of the order via social media or the email addresses provided.

Upon further investigation they bought the domain with 1API who have 5 reviews on TrustPilot and bad reviews at that. Secondly they are hosted with Amazon and claiming they lost everything and have no access how have they been able to add this announcement?
