Coming out nearly last in the draw didn’t faze @bobbyvmafia — he stuck to his instincts, kicking things off with zigs and solid bags to search out that all-important first bite.
With warm conditions overhead, he focused on the shallower areas of his swim, knowing full well that warmth equals carp at this time of year. After a slow start, things came alive after dark when a stunning 34lb ghostie hit the net on a 6ft zig… and from there, the session turned hectic.
Bobby landed 25 carp to 37lb 12oz, adapting his approach with a mix of tactics and making full use of our terminal tackle range—the Wide Gape hooks doing the business across the board.
This also marked his first session with the new 13ft 3.75lb Propel D Rods—and according to Bobby, “they did not disappoint!”
