Avid VTX+ Bite Alarms - These dont look too bad

Just seen the new video from Avid and these caught my attention. the new AVID VTX+ bite alarms and receiver, look to have some decent features and look alright

  • IQ-Sense Roller-Wheel & Bi-Directional Sensing System offers 8 sensitivity levels, eliminates false bleeps, and detects forward and backward movement.

  • ChromaLight LED System powers high-visibility 5mm twin LEDs with 6 colour options and 3 brightness levels, plus an optional night light. Colour settings: Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, White, Purple

  • VTX+ EPS Receiver Compatibility delivers stable, high-quality signal transmission up to 250m between alarms and receiver.

  • SafeGuard Anti-Theft Alert System sounds a warning if the alarm head is powered off, giving peace of mind.

  • IPX6-rated weather-sealed case protects digital internals and offers low battery consumption, powered by 2× AAA batteries (use high-quality batteries for optimal performance).

  • Fitted with a high-quality cone speaker for crisp, clear sound indication.

  • 2.5mm Power-Out Socket with weather-sealed bung for use with illuminated swingers or bobbins.

  • Cyan LED indicates when battery levels are low and need replacing.

  • The alarm features: Soft-touch buttons control power and LED settings, with three adjustment dials for fine-tuning volume, tone, and sensitivity. Deep ears with rod-friendly rubber inlays keep rods secure and stable in all conditions.
